Cold phosphating chemicals are used for surface treatment of metals (typically iron or steel) to improve corrosion resistance, paint adhesion, and surface finish. Unlike hot phosphating, cold phosphating is done at room temperature, making it energy-efficient and ideal for small or medium-scale operations.

1. Alkaline Degreasing: Removes oils, grease, and other contaminants from the metal surface. 
2. Water Rinsing: Removes residue from the degreasing step. 
3. Rust Remover: If needed, this step removes rust and oxidation. 
4. Water Rinsing: Removes residue from the rust removal step. 
5. Phosphating: Applies a phosphate coating to the metal surface, which improves corrosion resistance and paint adhesion. 
6. Water Rinsing: Removes any excess phosphate solution. 
7. Passivation: Treats the phosphate layer to further enhance corrosion resistance.
